Manual and Sports Physical Therapy clinicians will provide evidence-based best-practices for our patients
in an individualized, patient-centered setting utilizing skilled manual therapy and function based goals.
Direct Access
New York State law allows for individuals to be seen by a Physical Therapist without a physican referral for ten visits or thirty days.
Insurance
Most insuraces are accepted including Medicare and Worker's Compensation and we offer discounted packages for private pay.
Networks
Manual and Sports Physical Therapy is currently a participating member of Hospital for Special Surgery's rehabilitation network.
All of our therapists are New York State Licensed.
Peter Spagnoli, MSPT, SCS
Principal Owner, Physical Therapist, Sports Certified Specialist
Peter graduated from Florida International University in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. He continued his studies at Stony Brook University and earned his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 1993. In 1985 he opened Manual and Sports Physical Therapy in Southampton and has since expanded the practice east to Sag Harbor and East Hampton.
Peter is recognized as a Sports Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Athletics and competitive sports is not only an interest but a lifelong passion of Peter's. He has successfully completed over a dozen Iron Man Competitions and continues to adventure race all over the world.
Peter spends time in each office evaluating and treating patients as well as mentoring his staff. He places a strong emphasis on team work within each office and across the practice as a whole; facilitating a group of health care professionals who work together with patient care as their primary focus.

Manual and Sports Physical Therapy is a group of outpatient phyiscal therapy practices on the eastern end of Long Island owned by Physical Therapist Peter Spagnoli. The practice originated in Southampton in 1988 and has since expanded to locations in Sag Harbor anf East Hampton.
The practice name emphasizes the clinical skills of our therapists in manual therapy in conjuction with a strong background in sports medicine.
We place a strong emphasis on continuing education . All of our clinicians take courses each year in order to stay up to date with the most current evidence based practice.
